Hike Description :
An extraordinary route through an almost lunar landscape in the heart of the Vaud Alps. The trail crosses the Tsanfleuron karst fields, beneath the glacier of the same name, in a spectacularly rocky setting. High-altitude flora adds a touch of life to this raw landscape. The view stretches over the Pierredar Glacier, the Vaud Prealps, and the Haute-Savoie Alps, offering an intensely striking Alpine panorama.
Equipment :
- Good hiking boots, high-cut, waterproof, with a solid tread
- Warm clothing for breaks (fleece, down jacket, windbreaker)
- Rain gear
- 1 l of water (bottle or hydration pack)
- Sunglasses, hat, ad sunscreen
- Packed lunch and small snacks
(il y a de très bonnes tartes au refuge !)
- Binoculars (if you have them)
- Camera (optional)
- Trekking poles (if needed)
- Your personal first-aid kit
